2022

A full visual identity and a clean, luxurious website for a restaurant located in a historic mansion near the Kremlin.

Project Overview

Mechta is a large restaurant located in a restored historic mansion on Sadovnicheskaya Embankment, just a short distance from the Kremlin. The project required not just a website, but a full brand identity that would capture the atmosphere of the place — a blend of understated luxury, modern simplicity and timeless elegance.

Branding & Visual Identity

The branding is based on the idea of ‘luxury minimalism’ — clean forms, calm typography and a soft, premium color palette. As part of the project, I designed the logo, exterior signage for the building, menu layouts and a full set of marketing materials used both online and offline.

Website on Tilda

The website was created on Tilda with custom design blocks fully aligned with the restaurant’s visual identity. A reservation system from an external provider was integrated into the site, ensuring a seamless booking experience for guests. The layout focuses on atmosphere: large photography, clear typography and smooth navigation.

Print Materials & Menu

The project also included the design of the restaurant’s physical menu along with all associated marketing materials — invitations, printed brochures, table cards and branded templates. All materials follow a consistent visual style, reinforcing the restaurant’s premium positioning.

Outdoor signage

Results

The restaurant received a complete, visually coherent brand system that works across digital and physical touchpoints. The website, menu and printed materials now convey the same tone — elegant, modern and inviting — helping Mechta stand out among Moscow’s upscale dining spots.
